Sounds / Music / OST
Sound plays a significant role in the psycho-ecology of my works.
Whether it be libretto-like lyrical song, extended vocal techniques, or sonic signals that trigger events in game-like rituals, sound acts as an invisible director of consciousness.
The lyrical and the abstract come together, the fixed and the live, the haunted nature of recording and the intensity of uncanny vocalizations as I shape how I am perceived through the affect of voice, the doubling of live and copied worlds, and the fragmentation that occurs as recordings intercede.
I arrange sounds, write songs, and strike sculptures in performance.
Lyrics act as threads to past selves or current paradigms, recordings invoke contexts, a hypertext of gathered sources.
