Soundtrack (Excerpts)

A big part of my process is creating audio to reveal atmospheres for the conjuration of scenarios.
The creation of music and the exploration of sound is a scenario in itself. It is a space that has always allowed me to access the more abstract dimensions of causality, source of action, and the way that sounds haunt us through being apart of a more unconscious level of our visually dominated culture. I have always been inspired by people who use sound to push into new ways that sonic events happening in time can play a role in how we feel about an experience unfolding. Sometimes I make music, other times I make soundtracks, and some times I invite others to make sounds and music for my larger works. For me, music is a ritual, and so I think about why it comes from where it does, and how its feeling, structure, and source of inspiration are apart of who makes it.
